MERS® iSearch Terms and Conditions:  You must click "Accept" below to download the MERS® iSearch Subscription Request form.Please scroll down to accept the Terms

  1. MERSCORP, Inc. and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., ("MERS") and the Subscriber shall abide by these Terms and Conditions. The Subscriber shall be bound by any amendment to the Terms and Conditions.

  2. The Subscriber agrees that the use of MERS® iSearch will be for lawful business purposes only. MERS, for a monthly subscription fee, will provide access to MERS® iSearch from 7:00 am to 11:30pm ET, Monday through Saturday to the Subscriber upon the completion of the Subscription Application and successfully establishing the connectivity requirements. Access to MERS® iSearch will remain in effect and a monthly fee assessed until MERS receives written notification of cancellation. A minimum of 30 days notice is required for all cancellation requests. Monthly fees billed prior to cancellation will not be pro-rated or refunded. Access to MERS® iSearch will continue through the end of the then current billing cycle.

  3. The Subscriber has access to all information on the MERS® System for loans on which its Org ID has access rights.

  4. MERS in its sole discretion has the right to terminate the Subscriber's access to MERS® iSearch if MERS determines that the Subscriber is using MERS® iSearch for purposes other than its intended use or for nonpayment of the monthly fee. MERS also reserves the right to limit or deny access to MERS® iSearch due to resource conflicts. MERS will make a reasonable attempt to contact Subscribers before adjusting resource availability, but reserves the right to limit or deny access immediately without notice. MERS restricts access to the database to a single logon occurrence under each User ID at any one time.

  5. Subscriber will request a User ID and Password for each applicable Org ID for each employee requiring access to the Database.

  6. Subscriber will not share User IDs and Passwords internally or externally.

  7. Subscriber will not create a Master User ID or a masked User ID used by more than one person.

  8. Subscriber agrees to not execute scheduled queries containing multiple fields on a daily basis. MERS reserves the right to terminate an executed query if the query is deemed a "Runaway" query that may jeopardize system resources or database integrity. MERS will make a reasonable effort to contact the Subscriber that initiated the query but reserves the right to terminate the query immediately without notice.

  9. These Terms and Conditions and all transactions effected by the Subscriber with MERS shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia without regard to its choice of law provisions.

  3. Fill out the Subscription Request
  4. Sign the Subscription Request
  5. Fax or mail the signed Subscription Request to MERS
