Whether or not to provide such information is completely your own choice. If you choose not to provide the information we request, you may be unable to register on-line for the User Conference. We use the personally identifiable information you provide for registration purposes only. We do not share any of your personally identifiable information with other entities, with the exception of credit card validation. We will send you confirmation of your on-line registration once we have processed it.

Only registered MERS members can access MERS products and other restricted sites through using a unique Organizational ID, user name and password. We recommend that you do not divulge this information to any one. In addition, all information provided through these restricted sites resides on a secure server that only selected MERS personnel and contractors have access to via a password.

We may transfer or otherwise disclose personally identifiable information:

• In response to judicial process
• To protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud, claims, or other liability
