MERSCORP Holdings is the parent company of Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc.
Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc. (MERS) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of MERSCORP Holdings. When mortgage loans are registered on the MERS® System, MERS acts as nominee in county land records for the lender and servicer, and is the mortgagee of record and nominee for the beneficial owner of the mortgage loan.
Edward Kramer has served as an independent member of the Board of Directors of Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc. (MERS) since 2011. Kramer is currently a Member of the Senior Advisory Board at Treliant Risk Advisors, and serves as a Senior Advisor to Asurity Technologies. He has an MBA in management from Pace University. He is also a member of the Northeastern Regional Board of Directors of Operation Hope, Inc. and serves on the Advisory Board of Neighborhood Housing Services of New York City (NHS).
