Lost/Stolen Key-Fob
Immediately contact the IS Department for de-activation of your key-fob. The IS Department deactivates the missing key fob so it can no longer provide access to the building, floor, or MERSCORP Holdings suite.
Lost/Stolen Equipment
Immediately contact the IS Department for de-activation of Remote Access.
Report the lost/stolen equipment to the proper authorities, and retain the names and numbers of persons spoken to.

- Airport Information Desk (Lost & Found)
- Police (if equipment is stolen)
- Remote Location
- Report to the Hotel as applicable
- Car Rental Agency as applicable
- Cab Company as applicable
- Police (if equipment is stolen)
- At home
- Report to the Police (if equipment is stolen)
Report the lost/stolen equipment to the IS Department with detailed information.
- If the equipment is lost, provide a best guess description of the location/time lost and contact personnel at that area.
- If stolen, provide copy of the police report (if possible) or the police case #, Name of officer taking statement, Police Station, and Station phone #.
- If any personally identifiable Member data is stored on lost equipment, provide information about what data is included.
Re-contact the original authorities (Airlines, police, etc.) to determine if the equipment has been recovered.
- Perform this communication within a 24-hour window.
- If equipment is recovered, notify the IS Department.
- If equipment is not recovered after 24 hours, it is assumed to be a lost asset and the issue will be turned over to the IS Department for resolution.
- The Employee’s involvement is over at this step.
